An entrepreneur by nature, before becoming a Realtor, Marnie owned and operated several businesses. She started Cromwell Cleaners, which she held for 20 years before selling; she then developed "Cromwell Cleaners Too", which she owned and maintained for 14 years before selling; more recently, Marnie started Cromwell Giant Grinder Co. which she developed and sold within 3 years.
On a roll from the first three businesses, Marnie and her husband allocated capital to start Global Granite Marble. Their showroom and fabrication center is currently located on the Berlin Turnpike.
Marnie got the Real Estate bug when she ran the dry cleaning and grinder businesses, as she and her husband started investing in real estate at that time. A long time resident of Central Connecticut, having resided in Middlefield for the last twelve years, the itch to broker real estate never subsided.Marnie is the mother of two beautiful daughters with whom she loves to spend time and she also enjoys running, roller blading, working out and coaching cheerleading for Coginchaug Parks Recreation.

Margaret grew up in the Berkshires and moved to Connecticut in 1990. She received her degree in Social Services before entering the real estate market in the year 2000 when she joined William Raveis Real Estate.
Shortly thereafter, she developed the "Real Estate Assistants Group", a company that supported realtors who needed help with the various administrative aspects of real estate deals. Not long after starting her business, Margaret met Jim Didato who asked her to join his team full time. They joined forces in 2004 and five years later, Prudential CT Realty's President, Candice Adams, recruited the team to Prudential. Margaret now heads Operations and Training for the team and Jim is estimating growth at 7-10 agents per year beginning in 2010.
Margaret lives in East Hampton with her husband John and dog Winchester.
